My photography and digital painting involve a unique layered approach where realism is abstracted, and depth and relief are emphasized. I combine and layer many photographs together and then selectively remove elements to create images that prompt questions about reality, abstraction, ambiguity. Light, form, color, and movement fuse into a composite where multiple images become one.

Robb Reece is a Grand Junction, Colorado based photographic artist. A professional commercial photographer and former graphic designer for many years and a former professional runner and cyclist, Robb has always embraced challenge. Ever since attending art school at The Colorado Institute of Art, (The Art Institute of Colorado), Robb has utilized technology to pursue his unique vision while always chasing the light.
